It's me again with more problems.
According to my Holden Service CD the fuse panel in the engine bay is the same for VT,VX,VU & WH and the layout is per diagram below.

This image I googled is from a VX and is pretty much the same layout as the diagram above.

This a pic of my fuse box which is completely different, the fuses are at the opposite ends, the relay layout is different and I have seven fusible links instead of five.

Here is another one I googled with the same layout as mine but there is no mention of which car it came from.

The problem is that the sticker on the inside of the cover has somehow disappeared so I don't really know what's what. A pain when you want to pull or check a fuse or relay
I rang Holden to see if I could get a decal or cover but it seems nothing is ever available for my car anymore.
The only other image I could find with a very similar layout was a 2006 GTO Pontiac.

So I guess my question is, does anyone have a clue what is going on here?

Its possible your modle will be completely different to a short body and more similar to the gto as both were exports to my understanding. Your car replaced the lack of camel in those desert countries equiped with bullet proofing. If you could find the same vintage somewhere at the wreckers maybe your best option.

Thanks, I will give that a try.
The Holden service CD does state that the WH series has the same fuse panel as the VT, VX and VU though, but I will hunt down a WH cover, hopefully it's the same as mine.

I've been googling this nearly the whole day and only just now found what I need.

Just for comparison here is the VT one

Once again the Holden Service CD is wrong.

Thanks lout, that's good to know. Perhaps I shouldn't place too much credence on what the Holden service CD says. It's caused me concern a couple of times now.

looks like a VY layout to me and where it has spares is where stuff goes in a VY :)
