Fusion Monaro CV8z

Hi All,

So my 2 previous cars have been VE's, a 2008 SV6 and a 2010 SS. I've always wanted a CV8z but never bought one due to their Age.

Anyway a few weeks ago I went to my local dealer to check out a MY12 SSV Redline Ute, there was a Monaro sitting a few cars down that caught my eye. Next thing I know I'm test driving it and falling for it.

The car may be 5 years older than my SS but the interior is 10 times nicer!
From what I can tell, the body and interior is in immaculate condition and she only has 23,000kms.

I think the car is stock except for window tint, maybe the black paint on the rims? At first I thought it had some exhaust modifications because it sounds tough as, but I was talking to a few other Monaro owners and they told me that it was stock.
I have already removed the Chev Badges that were on her and replaced them with some Holden ones.

I need to learn some more about VZ's and LS1's but once I sell my SS I think I will want some more power.

Love this mate, I've always loved the monaros, ever since they came out in devil yellow an tursimo blue I feel inlove with them, mum almost got a gto a few years ago but she didn't own her ss enough would love to own one of these beasts

Nice pick up mate, any mods planned? And yeah the wheels are painted cos they are standard a silver alloy colour

I'm trying to talk dad into getting a turismo blue Monaro haha looked at one at Holden one day but it was full of stone chips so that was a no go

Thanks guys. Yes I love the fact that there aren't many Monaro's out there.

I will think about doing some performance mods once I get some cash from the sale of my VE SS.
I don't want to blow my fuel consumption out the window though as it is my daily driver.

I'm guessing that the *fapfapfapfapfap* is in reference to a Turbo? Lol
