ya mum!
Well I finally got to trimming the rest of the border trees - pittosporums - down the utility side and back of the house. Problem is our green bin isn't big enough so will have to do the tops and bottoms next weekend.

And here's a tip for anyone using electric garden tools, in my case the hedge trimmer...

Hedge looks great.

I have always done the knot with the electric tools however a few years ago I spent 3 months labouring on a building site and had strips torn off me for doing it because it was considered a safety issue if a tool had to be disconnected quickly in an emergency.

Im actually extremely dissapointed. I bought a Conifer from the shops probably a month ago to replace a dead plant in a ceramic pot - and it doenst look to be enjoying it at all.

All tools these days that use electricity have a "dead man switch" so that's not as much of an issue these days hopefully.

First mow on the highest setting after using the new Ryobi One+ whipper snipper to do the edges. Impressed with it TBH. Battery out of the box indicated 75% charge. After doing the whole yard it indicated 50%. So a full charge will easily do front + back.

Tie the extention cord this way. To much stress on the plug ends otherwise.

I prefer to use these

But that involves spending money. Who does that these days.

Seriously thinking of going full electric mower/whipper snipper soon. Looks like they might finally have the guts to do a real lawn.
