I have a regular gas setup, what better economy would I get changing it to vapor injection? I currently get 450km from a tank of gas, how much would I get on vapor? Cheers

Impossible to tell without real info, like engine, tank size, current mileage, driving style and conditions etc.

In any case the answer is likely yes, better economy and power on vapour or liquid system over an old mixer bowl system.

Odo stopped before I got car, presuming 400k+ kms, 3.8lt v6, 65 lt tank 450km a tank on gas, only 350km a tank on petrol driving sensibly most of the time lol thinking need new o2 sensors also

get it running properly on petrol first, 350 km to a tank of petrol..... then something is wrong, most efi lpg setups rely on the tps and o2 anyway.... no point trying to get better with another setup until it's fixed... the cost of an lpg injection kit is not cheap, it'll take a long time pay for itself with what ever saving you make and not to mention the install cost, injection takes longer to install and wire up so it won't be cheap there either.

now, there are options to upgrade that may work out alot cheaper if you are handy with that side of things (electrical wiring etc etc) as most of a mod like that is on the vapor side if going for vapor injection, depending on the converter brand and type you have now it may be a simple internal upgrade (and rebuild kit if the mixer is getting on in age) to get the 4-5 psi vapor output needed for injectors, depending on the impedance of the injectors it may be possible to drive them with a VS/VT ecu/pcm for the sequential injection. (this is actually something i'm embarking on in the near future, collecting all the bits and pieces needed atm but i'm heading towards dedicated lpg and doing away with petrol)
