So i had a look at the tacho thread, but couldnt find a certain line.. That had to do with ignition light wiring

I just got a water temp gauge, and have a fair clue on how to put it..

Im just after which wire i would use to get the light hapenning when the car is on/off.
ie. The ignition wire?

If anybody has a picture of the location of the wire that would be awesome.. As driving around with a gauge with no light is kinda useless.

Thanks!

Ok, get a multimeter handy, you should have a ciggy lighter in your car? it has illumination when your turn the parking lights on, take off the plastic surround around the gear selector and you will see the wires, test which one is illumination and tap off it. This would be the easiest but you can take it from pretty much anywhere you want ie. dash cluster, heater controls, H/U etc.
