Hey all. Just did an engine and trans swap in one hit on my vt. But now my gear selector is off... 1 is 2 and i cant even get 1. part way between 2 and 3 is 3 and in drive it shows part way between d and 3. Any ideas what i have done? Thanks in advance.
Linkage is misaligned. Undo the linkage from the box, move the selector on the box until you get it into Park. Try pushing the car, handbrake off, to make sure its in Park. Have someone in the car stick the shifter into Park position and hold it there, while you reattach and tighten the linkage underneath.
