Guys im looking at getting abit more "launch" so to speak What would make my v6 auto launch hard? http://www.difftechnics.com.au/gear_sets_bw.htm Ive been advised that 3.73 would be a good choice? Any tech heads out there please help Thanks Guys
OK, if you want launch, can i suggest the following... 1. Is it auto or manual? (Guessing auto...) 2. If auto, have you got a shift kit? 3. If no, get that done first, stage II or III depending on how much lanuch you are acutually going for. Also get a stall converter. 4. Have you had your throttle body cleaned out, bored, 100% opened? This will also add to throttle repsonce. 5. Then look at getting a new set of diff ratios... Just remeber that the tranny drives the car, thats where the power and torque is lost! Start there if you already havn't. aZk.
Its an Auto Ive got a Transgo Stage 2 shift kit coming. Im not really sure about stall convertors or know what to get but i will speak to afew trans places. As for the throttle body i will be taking it off and cleaning it aswell. So from what ive said above any ideas on whats best for my wants? Thanks m8
im saving for 3.73's, everyone has been telling me thats the best to get, get LSD to with the diff gears if your car hasnt already got it
Thats pretty much what ive been told by everyone. 3.73. As for the LSD i cant really be bothered with that. Thanks mate
