Ok, so i just went into holden and ordered in my parts i will get them tomorrow, when i went to their service area i was then quoted $275 Max labour (about 2.5 hours work) when i was emailing about ordering the gear shift knob and hand brake button, does this sound right? anyway im not going to pay that much so looks like im going to have alot of fun this weekend installing these 4 bits of plastic, would you advise me to try it myself if i have never done this before or never removed the console etc.. is it easy with the how to guides on here? what do you think would be the hardest part to do? thanks

It is easy to do, first thing I learnt was how to pull apart the dash. You see keen to learn, that's a good How To above, just go slow and look and learn as you pull it apart. If you get stuck, or can't figure something out, don't panic. Just post here and we can help.
i have done the handbrake button and under radio dash bin, removed the whole center console and took it out i cannot see how i get to the cup holder latch i tried sticking some wire in the top hole like u can do with the radio but that popped the spring out for the lid... so i need to try reattach that too and the foam thing came out what was near spring... please help.
the cup holder is removable from the console....open the cup holder lid and console lid, then gently pull the cup holder lid up which will unclip the cup holders from the console. The clip is then accessible from the underside of the cup holders
