thanks everyone it seems all to hard if not impossible to swap over so thanks for the advice might have to go manual steve
I made a 6L50 fit a ecotec.
So, l reckon the 6L50 can be made to fit you're ve.
This is what l used.
GM 6L50E, 6L80E 6L90E, Transmission Control Module. TCM-2650 transmission controller GM 6L45E 6L80E 6L90E transmission controller and wiring harness.

I also used a manual tune & had error code 94 turned off in the tune.
There was a lot more work involved for me. Tailshaft, torque convertor, adapted to fit. Engine adaptor.
The 6l50 will bolt up to you're engine, no problem with the torque convertor, maybe the tailshaft is the same?
I had engineers make the engine adaptor & torque convertor + tailshaft.
I did all the physical work of fitting everything & programming tcu (the link above).
I don't think you would need any of the above, basically or just bolts up & programmed? I don't know this for a fact?
What you would need to do is contact somebody that does this type of work? Like above somebody suggested, GC cars.
I've also read on this forum that this is possible. Its a matter of talking to the right people first.
It may take a lot of phone calls? Or not to many.
Good luck! Keep the forum updated with how you go, if you decide to go ahead with the project.
