hi guys
i drive a vz maloo manual if it helps but should apply to most cars in general.
im a sparky so im not the most mechanically minded guy but can still fix a few things here and there. anyway after doing a bit of a skid the other day i managed to do a cv joint in the rear, which ive replaced. but now another problem has arised. whenever i drive and get off the throttle there is a whine, or a whirring sound in a definate pattern. its not mono-toned, its sort of "whrrrrmmmmwhrrrmmmmwhrrrrrrmmmmm" haha. the sound goes away when i slap it in neutral or i have the clutch in. the whine/whiring sound is most noticeable when releasing the clutch. it may or may not be in time with revs of the engine (engine barely revving in neutral and hardly noticeable when driving really slow)
please help any thoughts. ill get it to a mechanic eventually but finding time in my job is pretty rare!
