I'm wondering why my auto gearbox constantly stops working after 30 seconds of use but then I let it sit for a minute or two and it acts normal for another 30 seconds

Good chance it needs a service, because the filter is clogged up with crap....

I had a similar thing recently with my VY auto...Would change fine for 10 minutes then all of a sudden had a box full of neutrals....Got it serviced and was told the filter was clogged up...Since it was serviced, it's changing fine

all good it was just low on oil
