gears slipping

hi all wondering if any one could help i replaced my auto yestrday with a second hand one it was working fine in the other car but all the gears slip to 4-4 and a half grand any ideas?

could it be the kick down or what ever the cable that goes from the box to the throttle body

could be the kickdown or not enough fluid or did you leave the torque converter on the flexplate and lift the box onto it like you shouldnt do.

Yeah I experienced this 4-5 times after a rebuild, due to shonky installers wont mention there buisness. Ended up being the kickdown cable, and once they forgot to re-fill the tranny with oil both things resulting in gears slipping/holding gear/reving out

VN V6, nothing special
pretty much what people have said above, doa service and adjust the kickdown cable and if its still doing it then go get another gearbox or beco yours because its stuffed lol
