Guys,
I've got a VZ SS Crewman with a gen 3. It's got an eratic miss at idle, and under light acceleration. Seems fine when under load. I've had 3 different shops put the reader on it and all of them scratch their head and say they'll investigate and call me back to book it in but never call me back. They're at a loss as to what's causing it. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction ???

Second that notion... Plugs or leads... Just do both and be done with it. Did mine just recently same issue, I'd let them go too long.

Check eBay for genuine gm/gmh plugs.

It started about 1000k after a new set of plugs and leads.

Yeah probably spark plugs. One could be faulty or cracked due to overtightening.

You could give the throttle body and maf sensor a clean and see if that helps. May as well, doesn't cost anything and helps idle anyway.

Otherwise plugs, then leads.

I all above have said, I did have a similar problem with my ls1. Turned out to be a loose plug the hope never tightened up enough. Possible a damaged lead when installing or just not sitting correctly on coil or plug. Easy mistake to make

mate check your crank case breather hoses all the way to the throttle body..... have both my ls1 did exactly the same thing and it turned out to be a hole in the pipe from the PCV valve to the throttle body. To look at it looked fine but on closer inspection when I turned it it just fell to pieces...very common. Took it off and replaced it with some trans hose in the shed and fixed the problem straight away...
