Anyone able to post a photo of where all the bulbs go in a gen3 manual cluster please. I removed all the bulbs to try and put LEDs in and failed now i forgot where they all go back together lol. Also anyone know where i can get a complete LED kit for the vt ? looking for a simple plug in and works
should only b 5 x globes in the cluster and 1 x 4 ur lcd screen. 2 x 4 the indicators if u changed them 2 but these u should b able 2 easily work them out. did u take out the warning light globes?
all the globes where taken out thanks to my mate ,went to make coffee and bamm have no idea how they all go back in lol, ive tryed buying afew LEDs off of ebay but they eaither dont fit or blow in afew days
again have u got a test light? if not u can test each 1 and wat eva socket lights up put a globe back in there. if u wanna check ur warning lights use the hidden mode feature 2 check ur warning lights as they should all light up so u can check they r all working. As 4 the LEDs u got wat r the specs? chances r they used the wrong resistors or the LEDs rnt that great. This is y wen we say with ebay u get wat u pay 4 trying 2 convert it the cheap way which in the end doesnt work, we have tried them all, so ur best off gettin it done properly.
Thanks mate found the problem your right bout the LED being a cheap way out .going to jaycar to grab what i need to make the job done easyer , i need your cluster and thats pretty much what im aiming to do over the weekend
lol u wont get anywhere near close 2 it by just swapping over the globes, theres alot more work involved 2 get it perfect.
I have just ordered some more led's off ebay, username poOhBeAr or similar, i didnt buy enough the first time. they come in packs of ten for $6 and the resistor's are $1.30 for ten. i did my own blue LED conversion and it looks sweet as! i will take a couple of picks of the back of the cluster if you still need it? did you get 1/2 watt resistors? anything below this and they will not last long at all.

10x Ultra Wide Angle 4.8mm/5mm LED Pack PCB Kit Blue | eBay You will need two packs of ten, ask for 20 1/2 watt resistors aswell and he will invoice you a few extra dollars. i havent received mine yet so will probably have a crack at the rest of the dash next weekend, ill take some pics then to give you an idea.
