gilmer does sound like a blower under the bonnet, as one of our mates goes "is that blown" when geoff was idiling next to him in a quiet street.

Lol yeah, i like it, and no i do not pretend it is a blower, never have and never will, if some ppl dont its ok i dont mind, some things arnt liked by everyone.
its a bit different on a moderner car though, used to be used on a lot of older 308s etc

saw this on here never got the chance to comment on it..
mate looks real nice dont mind the rims either .. the tri spokes dont actualy look bad on some colour clubbies imo .. but ur rims on now are better ;)
have u put it on the dyno yett? also thought ur diff gears were 3:45 already?
though t5's came with them .. hmm.. how far from S.e suburbs are u ?

Thanks mate, the original clubby rims are on again, and will probly stay like that for quite some time, as i love them now, and have my wallet focused on other things.
Nah its just got the stock 3.08 gears, the autos/manuals were all the same.
Im in the SE Subbs, on the mornington peninsula (bout 15 mins from frankston if that helps), where bouts you from?

Lol thanks mate, maybe you should get a 5ltr then :p
Gilmer belt drive eliminates belt slip, makes a whining noise, and also looks good.... well i think it does lol, doesnt do anything performance wise.

The originals suit the car really well IMO, but only on the clubby. I saw a pic of a vl with them on. Needless to say, didnt look right.

Hmmmmm...... mate i honestly have no idea. Im sure it could be done, but the belt setup on the v6's is pretty hectic might be pretty complicated. Ill keep my eye open though

    Thanks mate :D

Thanks mate, with the gilmer i am running power steering, but not aircon, the only way to run aircon with gilmer, requires a fair bit of modding, and altering pulleys and running more belts and what not
