Yeah true, even one needs to get a sigma up them at some point. I would absolutly KILL for a genuine sigma turbo!
You fag Geoff So you got the cashola for the clutchola? Man i wouldn't think too much would go wrong with your Clubby after you have the clutch done. Your Cluby is like my VP in that sense, you have replaced almost everything that could **** up on it lol. ****ing Commodores.
Yeah thats one thing that is sort of keeping me going. When something goes, im replacing it with good quality stuff or beefing it up in some way. So hopefully not too much more can go wrong lol. Anyway got some sort of good news today, i rang south east geaboxes and they quoted me $700 to throw an overhaul kit through my gearbox while its out, new bearings/seals/synchros and what not, which i didnt think was too bad. And now im down to choosing which clutch i want to use, im deciding between: 1) Clutch industries - Ceramic clutch and flywheel packaged based on the 350 chev stuff for about $950 2) Ace clutches - Organic clutch and flywheel setup, spoke to do 400RWKW no worries, $980 ish I think Im leaning more towards the ace, because ive heard good thigns about them before. Should have most of the cash by end of the week, then just gotta work out how much labor is gonna kill me, then hopefully have it done asap!
nice one geek. All coming together now.. sort of. Whr that sth east joint at? im guessing Mc Auto told u who to talk to??
Yeah Marc put me onto these guys, i think they are in Cranbourne or somthing, bit of a drive but i dont mind.
Will do man, you havnt got me cheesy mites for ages, you owe me Cheers man, it does sit nice, but it becomes a pain some times being so low, which is another reason i would like a daily nugget
geoof, half the time i forget.... and when working long shifts, i forget to come past on way home. But give me time. You'll have some soon enough. *maybe il make **** loads, n freeze em for ya.
No way did i chop them, i would never do that in a real car. Only a thrash car/paddock bomb.... Rears are SSSL's, and fronts are V6 SL, which sit a lot lower than V8 SL The ride height is good, but its quite low for speed humps and stuff like that, can get quite annoying at times
Cheers man. Im aching to take it for a good fang once the clutch is done. Hopefully tax return will be good so it wont be as long a wait
You still should have put the money you used for the turbo sigma into your clutch fund you dreidle doodle bum toucher.
dreidle doodle bum toucher. LMFAO but seriously, its really comin along well....been following ur build, tis givin me some inspiration to throw a few $$$ at mine.....Im beginning to kinda like mine, even though a wanna hate it....and my clutch is nearly farked too....
Nah its cool Thanks for your comment, Tas HSV At the moment i am thinking of just getting an exedy HD clutch and chucking it in, just to get it back on the road, because of my brokeness. And my sigma crapped itself yesterday so had 2 cars that i couldnt drive lol. So need a backup car too. So i guess ill chuck it in and see how it holds up, by the time ive got the blower all going and everything i should have cash for a sweet clutch if it doesnt hold up to the POWER
