i have always ran my power cords throuhg the gromet behind the brake booster, this may be for the clutch i dunno, but in an auto it's empty, and from there it's drop down near the pedals, and you can run it down the drivers side to the boot

Colum auto? ummm, ok, well as its not manual, you can use the clutch grommet to feed your wires through.

Its to the right of the break booster in the engine bay, comes out near top of break pedal. Its in between fuel hard lines and booster.

Rats. Wish I had seen this thread a couple of days ago. Just got through running a power cable. Gave up trying to get it through the firewall and ran it down the brake lines, tying it with wire ties. Missed seeing that grommet near the power booster completely.

Don't know if I shall shift it tho. It's in now. Maybe some time when I get enthusiastic.

For your own safety and vehicle longevity any hole with something passing through it, wiring included, needs a rubber grommet.

Yeah, it's a bitch because of the insulation/sound deadening behind it. I just pushed it back in using an old (blunt) flat blade screwdriver to work the edges back in.

    maybe

passenger side on the firewall (back right side of engine bay) up high there is a big plug with wires going threw it (wire looms for computer) once you pop that out a bit feed amp wires threw to were the computer is (passenger floor behind last kickpannel on left) then to were ever you want
    hope that helps
