Getrag 290 gearbox

Does anyone have a breakdown diagram of Getrag 290 gearbox or where I can download one from. I need to replace the centring bush an been told the Easyest way is to take the back of the box off. Press the bush out press the new one in an bolt in back on. I wanna see what I’m in for before I start the job ?? Pic of the ID: numbers

If you can source a Gregorys service manual.
Had a look at mine (except its for the VS) and it has a full breakdown of the gearbox and so on, exploded views, how to take it apart and all those goodies.

The centering bush you are wanting to replace is contained in the end of the slip yoke where the rubber coupling bolts on, it is not the bush situated inside the extension housing that the slip yoke runs in.
You do not need to remove the extension housing from the gearbox.
AFAIK the slip yoke simply slides out of the extension housing.

This is the centering bush in your slip yoke. Looking at your pic I suspect that once you remove the slip yoke from the gearbox you may be able to insert a long drift into the slip yoke to drive the old centering bush out.

You need to measure the OD of the centering pin on your driveshaft front coupling

Buy the appropriate 14mm ID or 16mm ID centering bush.
