   Ok, i got a VX 2002 5spd...
   Thats got a POS weak Getrag gearbox in it yeah??
   This site has its facts f*cked up and recons that commodores ran the Getrag up until the VT and then VX onwards ran the T5...
   I thought the T5 was the older holden gearbox..?

   91' VN SS

   VN to VS SI ran the T5. VS SII till the VY ran the Getrag (from VT SII only the V6 used it, the V8 used the T56).

   as Airstarike said, T5 from vn to vs series I was T5.
   The getrag is not that bad, mine work okay for me? Better ratios for a start, except i recon the 5th gear in the T5 was a better ratio than the getrag one.
