I want to buy a cold air intake. i have found one on ebay... which supplys the pod and the shield etc... but still using the standard piping thing, would getting an exhaust shop or something of that nature to make up a stainless steel pipe instead of the standard black one make any difference...?

a bit of PVC pipe would work just as good or even just a bit of intercooler pipe with some rubber hose ends and just paint it

so it is better to replace the original black piping?

And where do i get intercooler piping from? is it better then the stainless steel from a exhaust shop?

Dude you can order from super cheap cold air induction kits. They mount like the factory one's similar to the one i have on my VT Calias. The air intake is normally is just above the front left grill.
