getting a roadworthy what to look for

hey im putting me car in this week to get a roadworthy in VICTORIA and just wanna no what they look out for

You need to say what state as they are all different in how severe they are! You also should be able to visit your state main roads website for the genral items they check, but first off tell us what state.

brakes pads and disc thickness,suspension eg balljoints and tie rod ends,shocks,spring height,seatbelts, seats,guages eg speedo working,tyres wheel alignment not pulling car to one side,exhaust has got no holes,windscreen no cracks or big stonechips,light operation,windows and doors working,mods,oil leaks and probably more i cant think of right now.

forgot to add bushes and steering wheel not twisting and if youve got lowered springs do they fall out when you jack up the car if so it wont pass.

Cracked dash (no idea why thats unroadworthy), anything hanging from the rear vision mirror is unroadworthy in VIC too.
