For some reason it wont load up it was dark nd used the flash
Also if I just buy a new key fob nd don't take the battery out will that work
Don't think so you have to pair up or it wont work, found this you can try with your fob see if it works,

From VT onward the BCM and PCM need to be linked, if you swap out the BCM (even if it has the matching key fob) it won't start. It sounds like you have a BCM/Key fob issue.

One trick you can try is manually open the door with the key, put the key in the ignition and switch to the on position and leave it for a couple of hours. Then remove the key/cycle the key and see if it will kick over.

You could leave the key in ignition in the on position for about 10 to 20 minutes this over rides immobiliser so you can start vehicle. the red immobiliser light that flashes goes out when you can start it. the light is the red LED next to the trip computer buttons

lights are on the dash are on nd battery is good
also cleaned the metal on the ignition nd key fob to

Are you basing the battery being good on the dash lights or did you actually try to jump it?

You might also actually need to bend the metal strips out slightly so you're sure they're making contact.

You could leave the key in ignition in the on position for about 10 to 20

More like 120.

The on position is not accessories so yes lights on and if you don't sort out the fob you will need to keep waiting till the led light stops flashing ever time you want to start it, so either get a PCM with fob with the same serial or buy the one like the utube video or go to holden and pay a fortune for one. Or even try changing the battery over in your fob, my bet get the plug and play and keep the original PCM.
