Probably the only way to get people to care about the Commonwealth Games.

I love it how Australia gets all excited over winning the Commonwealth Games. May as well just ask Canada and Australia to show up.

I think it has to do with population and infrastructure. England is the same size as if Australia and Canada were one country, whereas Scotland and NZ are 1/10th that population.
Nauru is by far the best, Australia and New Zealand in the top 1:50,000 bandwidth, whereas Scotland, Wales are in the 1:100,000 champion per capita and even that is twice as good as England at 1:200,000.

Yep, some of the little countries are punching above their weight when you work it out on a per capita basis.

When was the last time we got no medals at the Olympic games?

Summer Olympics: 1904 - no medals.
Winter Olympics: no medals from starting to compete in 1936 until 1994.

With the exception of no medals in the 1904 Olympics, Australia has won medals at the summer Olympics since we started competing in the Olympics in 1896. Our first winter Olympics medal was in 1994 and we've won medals in the winter Olympics at every one since.

NZ is doing OK I thought... hell NZ sports might start giving money outside our top 3 sports teams now..

Mate I could not believe it, I see the Men have see through on too.

And what about the bike riders in the velodrome , why do the girls have the different colour around the private spot. My eyes go straight too it.
