I meant as in if the glow paint is clear then to have it used as a clear coat over bare metal..

Sounds like something that cant be done though..

Thanks for the help..

BTW, VPC wouldnt ever get this. LOL

It wouldnt be too bad over a yellow car, cause it wouldnt show up till night...

How about a car with speed stripes in reflective paint...

The "raw" look is/was very popular in the BMX scene. Clear over raw metal.

Looked tough on a BMX.

Not sure about a car though.

youd need a pretty good car body to do it because it would show every rust hole every bog patch every imperfection so unless the entire body was mint it would look terrible.

its not only that VKC. i would imagine that clear wouldnt stick to metal for very long, so you would have it peeling off all over the place after a couple of hot days. and afaik they dont make a clear primer. i have some flexi-prime here which is transparent, but its clearly an orange colour. mix that with the slightly yellow clear and the white glow paint and you will get a tan sort of colour.

also i have a can of the glow in the dark stuff. i used it on the gear indicator in the impala and it is horrible stuff. it fizzes really badly when it comes out of the can and the finish is just aweful. i am guessing if you mixed it in with a clear, it'd react prety badly with the thinners in the mix.

but still. dont let that stop ya ;)

At first I thought this is glow in the dark paint but after reading about it, it says its 3M reflective paint.

True True Ari, So the only way it'd work is: prime, paint, paint, glow, glow, clear, clear, clear...

2DIE, That looks chopped...
