It’s the fact that Holden were continually trying to sell pies to customers who wanted something better is the reason why they will soon be no more

Good point, but lately the imported pies have been soggy and luke warm. The traditional Australian pies were well made, tasty, but expensive to make apparently.
Will sushi on bagels, donuts, and croissants go well with a beer ?

It's the usual load of upper management BS! They know they've f#$ked Holden in the arse and people dont want their new wave rubbish but are trying to say it's Holdens problem and Holden need to lift their game and sell more sushi rolls to their pie eating customers.
Bunch of GM Wankers!

GM will need to be VERY patient if they expect the Holden Brand to recover to anything like it's former dominance of our market.

IMO, their widely dispersed range of vehicles from multiple plants and makers will always be a problem.

Once those 24 New models are on the market, Holden badges will adorn GM Korea, Thailand, Europe and the US. They will also be selling at least one Chevrolet model, maybe more. There won't be any identifiable Holden character and traditional buyers won't be fooled, but new buyers may consider them and rusted-on Holden customers will still show loyalty.

But the days of Holden being top dog re gone forever.

I don't think a capitalist entity such as GM has the level of patience required to see that day come.

Typical big business management, first they strip said company off all it's assets/gut it and then expect it to perform better than before. When it doesn't happen they either sell it off or worse...

I give the Holden brand name four years. It certainly doesn't seem to matter to GM much any more.
