That's a weird rule...there are some good things about turning 25 then (including insurance costs going down!)
Good luck. Everyone given you good advice, your head will be spinning tonight... Remember where to stop etc where there are lines marked on the road for STOP signs etc. Cheers
I'll share with you a piece of wise advise someone told me the day I got my P's. Getting your P's is easy, it's keeping it that is the hard part.
Do the spead limit 1k over FAIL Be careful not to mount roundabout or gutters FAIL Stop at stop signs completely for 3 seconds Indicate for 5 seconds before doing anything EXAGGERATE YOU BLIND SPOT CHECKS ( CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH ) Check your mirrors even if they are perfect ( LET HIM SEE ) If someone is standing on the side of the road looking like they want to cross ( Slow down so he knows you have seen them and am expecting them to run in front of you ) If their are roadworks slow right DOWN Check before you start about school zones ( if they are active or not, My cousin failed for not slowing down during the school holidays so just check before so his word counts ) Dont be a twat IF YOU THINK THE GAP IN KINDA SAFE WAIT, Wait until the GAP is so big you could turn a semi trailer When you reverse, Look in your direction of travel for the 1st 1.5 meters Plus then all your basic road rules Then rip a H3Kt1k Single pegger leaving the RTA when you get your P's
Ive never heard of that happening around here :O Thanks Kings, if i get them i might spot you driving round Heads already spinning lmao You get 5 seconds to be over by under 5 k.. over by 5 k then fail.
Wow thats nice in NSW i was told 1 k over AUTOMATIC FAIL But ye, Also if he says Pull over here and by that means you could cause an accident or have to apply breaks to hard or not be able to indicate for long enough wait until its safe to do so and you have given other drivers enough time to prepare for you to stop
When i went for mine in the ACT a year ago the examiner said "I will not try to trick you, but only obey my instructions if they are legal" Only thing he picked me up on was obstructing the flow of traffic, and that was because i purposely accelerated very very gently so as not to appear cocky It was one of the easiest things ive done, i literally drove around for 15 minutes then he gave me my license Goodluck!
Mine went down heaps...I was surprised at how little it cost this time around from what it would have a few years ago. Then again it's only third party so not very expensive anyway.
Thanks Clair EXREEEMMMEELLLYY nervous right now. Ill check back in, in a couple hours to let you all know how i did.
Good luck! I failed my P's twice, first was because the woman kept taking me around the same block for about 30 mins, and when I finally stopped at the same red light I stopped at the past 50 times, I was juuuuuuust a tad touching the white line, which = instant fail cos I "went through a red light". second time was when I was coming up to a right turn, but it was in a street, more a "curve", and there were cars on both sides of the road on the corner, so naturally I had to go as close the the middle of the road as I could to get past them, and I just went over the centre lines a bit (otherwise I'd crash into the cars) so she failed me again. Third time lucky, though, cos the guy gave me a big speel about something I did wrong, and then didn't even tell m I had passed till' I chased him down and asked lol.
I almost failed due to having my thumbs hooked on the inside of the steering wheel. In an accident you will snap your thumbs apparently. Luckily that section only had two boxes that he could put a cross on. If it had three he would of failed me. Other than that the driving part was easy. Only advice I can give is treat the test guy as though he is a cop. Be polite, respectful and courteous and I think you have a better chance. Good luck Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
