Equinox LTZ - runs on cocaine

This was my then boyfriend/husband's and my first car, he bought it when he was 17 and as you can see we both loved surfing. Sadly she "died" when t-boned by someone jumping a stop sign at 100kph. Up till then we had many adventures as teenagers and lots of long road trips. We converted the bench seat to lay fully back so we could sleep in her on overnight trips and as there was no air conditioning had a fan mounted on the dash.

Ahh, Great Car of its time, and the SAAS rear louvers, remember them well,
I had a set on my 1972 HQ Kingswood [Not the Kingswood Ted Bullpit would say] they were so cool,
and also kept the car a bit cooler, especially with no air con,
Most of us had 4/60 aircontioning [4 windows down, 60 miles an hour]
Yes, air condition, that's for only who could afford it as an option,
or for the so called luxury models/variants/cars [Premier, Statesman & Statesman Deville]
great memories of the HQ's.
