GOOD POLISH / WAX FOR THINNING BLACK METALLIC

Gday guys trying to rejuv some black paint that is getting thin on a VZ. It's not broken through but has all the cloudiness kicking off. let me know what works! thanks

Have a watch of this. Sandro is one of my favourite detailers on YouTube. Seems like a nice guy as well.

if it's bad enough all you'll do is make it worse. no snake oil can help that.

all polish removes layers, that's what it does.

Best thing I would suggest is a clay bar and sealant only. It'll add layers of protection over what's there, rather than thinning what's there before you coat it. Polish = paint removal

If you are concerned about the thickness of the paint, and not comfortable with paint correction, even a wax like Meguiars Canauba wax will pick this up a little.

I tried out the Meguiars hybrid ceramic on a Rav 4 with nothing more than a wash and was blown away with the result. Car has never had any work done on the paint. Did it because I was curious on the result.
