Good Price 4 a VR commodore?

hey guys. i just bought my first car, a 94 vr commodore. its basic stock. paint is gr8{dark bluish purple} and boot is excellent. interior is pretty good too. its got 227000 km's i think. i paid $2000 with rego and RWC thru my uncle whos a mechanic so i kno its good. wat do u guys reckon?thx 4 ur input.

dam, prices have really droped, no wonder why i havent had any interest in the VL u can pick up a newer car for cheap.

I paid $1000 for mine... LOL

And then I threw a new gearbox in it (I knew it was a bit of a dodgy gearbox, my foot just helped it die quicker though) and put all new brakes on...

So all up, for a fairly reliable car for me, it cost me around $2600...

So $2000 isn't a bad price. Just get under the car, and check the meat on the brake pads!

yeh. my uncle changed the brake pads, alternator, new power steering fluid line and gave it an oil change. i think it may be chipped but not sure. ne1 kno how i culd find out?
