This is a quote i got....."a 2 1/2" front muffler with a 2 1/2" elimo tail pipe, this would cost $422.10 fitted with a nice chrome tip...."

Will this sound good and is the price fair??

BTW This was the first stage for the system. The extractors (2nd stage when I have the money!) were another $881

    Cheers

sounds a bit expensive, usually you can get a 2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust with extractors for around $750 total and that will produce a very nice sound and you can usually choose from a fair few tips as well.

$260 for 2-1/2" catback 1 muffler, 1 resonator to 4" chrome dumper was what I paid yesterday.

Can I see a picture? I currently got a 2-1/2" all the way back and am going to get a chrome tip and I'm not sure what to do. I'm also getting extractors..

Just not sure what tip I want..

yeah mate bit too expensive, i paid $260 for my 2.5 inch lukey exhaust and then $600 for the pacemaker tri Y extractors. Both prices were supply and fit.
I'd say shop around a bit more.

I've been quoted by a more expensive but well reputed exhaust shop for exactly that, and it was only $350... go shopping.

Well, I am finally posting my first pics tonight. Pity I had some chick park her Daewoo under my rear bar on the way home from work.:ranting:
Best bit is she got a canary for her bald front tyres. :yeah:
Anyhow, posted a few pics of 4" dumper (don't pick on how high it sits, getting lowerd in a month or 2) and some before and after shots of my right hand corner.

I'm from Sydney, got it from Bankstown Mufflers. Very good price. As I bought a lot of parts off him

    Separately would of cost:

    Pacemakers : $450
    2 1/2 inch exhaust : $220
    SS tip : $60
    Hi Flow Cat: $250
    Hotdog Resonator: $30

Would of been $1010.00 if bought separately, bargained him down from
$950 to $800 cash. You just need to know how to bargain.:yeah:
