hahah yeh i went down my street and it didnt look like I was home... but from the up above shot my car was there lol!!
Um, the "above" image is taken by a satellite in space. The streete view image is taken with a camera mounted to a car driving past. Satellite images have been around for year. Street view was done in Nov/Dec 2007. They aren't syncronised.
I've seen the Streetview car getting around here. Hopefully they are taking photo's coz they've only done about 1/5 of our city. My bro that works at Holdens said it come in for a service or sumfin the other week.
Interesting calculation (cos I am bored)... if they did 10,000 kays in a week they would have to be driving at (pretty much) 60km/h all day everyday.
The ACT photos have been updated VERY recently. From what I can work out they must have taken a new series of photos about 6 months ago.

Yea, i noticed some parts are new and others are not. I looked at Macgregor West and the stage it is at in the ariel photos was about 6 months ago but at the same time there is nothing in Franklin which has been there for atleast a year.
