did the tweeter come with any brackets?

maybe try some double sided tape? that doesnt leave a mark.

when you said in case you have to remove it, wont it leave a hole in the trim.

The tweeter didn't come with any brackets.

I am going to try some tape, the double sided could be the go.

I meant if I had to remove the trim from the door to play around with the inside. I would need to remove the tweeter to remove the trim completely. So yeah the trim is always going to have a hole in it.

Sikaflex sticks but dosent harden like a glue....

Sikaflex is messy, it peeled my window tint off lol

I thought as much but I agree it could get messy. I will try the tape first.

Hey mate, nice car just wondering how you like your headlights? Do the authorities give you a hard time over them for the led strip? Especially at night?

yeah, to remove the door trim all you need to do is un plug 1 wire :), put the terminal plugs on them then they can stay in there permanently :)

Loving the headlights so far. And don't get a hard time at all from the authorities. I have seen at least two others running the same headlights in Canberra, plus these days Audi and Volkswagen run the same set up anyway.

I've had the LED lights for about three months never been pulled over once and I run the strip 24/7, I believe in lights during the daytime. I've seen one other set in Victoria.

Saw another car with these headlights on the way to work this morning. All the ones I have seen though have been in VEs.

I decided to bust out the paint again. This time trying to pull off a claw mark across the plastic radiator cover.

Here are pics from the weekend's work.

Also the 'tape around the tweeter' idea worked a treat. It hasn't moved since I put it back in.

Interesting idea there mate, looks very good in your engine bay there :)

Let me know if you are still having trouble with that tweeter, wasn't the install done by BDL? I am sure they would be more than happy to fix it for you :)

Cheers,
Anthony.
