Been a while since the last update but plenty has been happening, most of it not car related :p

Car still runs and functions. Only minor maintenance, fluids and lubs changed etc.

The stuff I have been doing is garage and house related. So this is a pic dump of the stuff I've been building for the garage.

First a bookshelf for the corner.

Part 2...

Then I built a big desk for the corner under the bookshelf.

I had a bunch of wood laying around and wood left over, so while building the desk I knocked up a wood trolley.

Otherwise I scored some Iwata spray guns for some work I am planning with the paint inside the car...but thats a future project.

I had some time, so using my new Iwata guns I redid the clear on the engine bay pieces and did the same on the interior. In there a did a few pieces completely from scratch.

It was interesting using quality guns instead of the Supercheap specials I had in the past. It took a bit of getting use to.

I've also been collecting black interior and leather pieces over the last few months. So I installed all those while I had the interior out.

New leather gear stick and handbrake, these I painted as well...

Redid all the locks...

And did the door handles, these I previously hadn't done.

Few pics of the black air con, mode and headlight switch...

The more pieces I did the better and more comfortable I got with these guns. The last piece of course came out the best.

Cheers

I thought I would throw these pictures up as they may be useful. I took a few while I switched the lights over. I was meant to take more but was busy doing the interior stuff.

Not much happening on the car at present, just maintenance.

Couple new tyres, wheel alignment, few new bushes for the front suspension and brakes replaced with new rotors and pads. Only change in set up, the front pads are now QFM Comp 9, rears still QFM A1RM.

I tried trimming the side console pieces with the black velour I had bought previously.

Here is the result:

It came out pretty good. I am going to try and do the same to the lower section of the glove box and the steering/fuse cover.
