Anyone playing with GPS Navigation in their cars. I am using a trial Destinator 3 software with an i-Mate PDA2K and a Globalsat BT338 receiver. Very impressed with response times and accuracy but I find the maps can be somewhat out of date. Would be pleased to hear of other's experiences, especially with various software packages
Duno anythin bout urs but i use a streetpilot c320 and its awsome....as i work for gme i get the maps for free from them but yeah the unit is a good unit and yeah it works everywhere even out in da bush when going 4wdin and out fishin on the boat pluss i bias to gme equipment too
i have gps navi running on my carPC. im using the destinator maps with an app called map monkey. i have found that the maps are slightly outdated aswell. but its not too bad. although i really need to stretch its legs with a trip up north.
Navman iCN635 I have been using a Navman iCN635 for a few weeks. In that time, it has worked very well, but I did find one minor map error (new road not in the database). Got it for a very good price, and am totally satisfied.
