All the bands mentioned are great.
Don`t forget The Angles and The Mentals.

Saw The Mentals at a footy club one night and the place was packed age group from 15-50 and everybody dancing and singing.

my vote would have to go to AC/DC, or maybe Karnivool. the cat empire is also pretty great, i play trumpet (i know, right? :rockon and their sh1t is pretty fun to play

AC/DC are the greatest aussie band ever. been playing strong since the 70s, still put one of the best live performances on ive ever seen even though they are all over 60 years old. and everybody knows who acdc is, ive asked people about inxs and most people dont even know who they are, shocking if you ask me cos they were a sick band, either way we are aussies and we make sick tunes! and i disagree with a comment i seen before that brian johnson is better than bon scott, no way bons the man!

not a band but does anyone listen to opiuo on here? kids off the hook! glitch hop mixed with psytrance it seems, either way im frothing his tunes, still yet to hear with bass but my guess is it would blow minds, and maybe subwoofers haha

Theres way too many to choose from, theres so many great Aussie bands out there... Rose Tattoo, The Angels, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Little River Band, Midnight Oil etc.. The list goes on! Recently started getting into a band called "Roxus"
