Green Badges??

If you buy new badges, they come with the tape already fixed to them - just peel the backing paper off and stick them on (wipe over the paint first with IPA: Demineralised water at 1:1 first)

Just paint the inserts and leave the outer edges silver - will look mint.

green lion badges might be too much - try one and see how it goes - I'd be inclined to ditch the rear one though and make the front one black. The green on the number plate and the green on the SV should be enough to carry the them

Just don't remove the rear holden badge(the one on the boot) unless you have a direct replacement. the earlier ones on VE's apparently have 2 holes underneath it.

^^ correct - seems 06 and early 07 sedans had locating holes - not sure why.. the badges don't use them.

I've never come across a ute with locating holes. Should be fine. Not a massive deal if there is, you just need to stick a badge back on. 99% sure that they never put the locating holes on the VE utes or wagons though. Just the early sedans.

i might give this a go this arvo. getting that stick residue off is an easy job?
i remember with my VS getting the sticky stuff off the rubber door trim was a task and a half.
