Green VS Maloo

So I didn't end up getting the vt/vs series III mags, came across these HSV ones instead pretty good price I think since they're almost spotless. Been repainted in a high gloss silver and don't know what the tyre brands are, I haven't heard of them, hopefully they'll be good because they have plenty of tread.

I just realised we have the same wheels.
I was under the impression that they are VR HSV Senator wheels.

Yeah I thought gts but anyway the best of the earlier ones ( I think).
Never thought att I'd be lucky enough to get at a reasonable price = but was very happy when these came up.
Mine aren't on at this point in time.
Two have gutter rash ( can't believe after years of never hitting wheels on kerbs I did 2 in 2 months) , another has a flat spot.
I want to refurbish and thinking of charcoal grey colour.

Ran those wheels on brother's vs maloo for years untill got him series 3 maloo wheels & maloo sticker kit which he hated.

Mine obviously has vs iii stickers on front guards. = ( previous owner fitted).= guessing couldn't get vs i stickers in silver/ grey by then.= could still get black vsi vs ii when I first got maloo, but not silver.
I have a full vs iii sticker kit for when I respray.
Love the vs iii style and I think the colour suites my paint colour

His was same colour too except he crashed it a few times so eventually whole thing had been resprayed.

Written off Series 3 Maloo I bought is where sticker kit came from...for some reason they were never fitted.Maybe they were optional for owners to put on.

His ute was high mileage smoker's car with gazzard mods...basically had to draw blood from a stone to get money to mechanical mods & while I had had it updated it to look Series 3 specs...untill popped bonnet...185 covers,no maf obviously.

Could still get original sticker kits back then for beaucoup money.

I've seen replica kits made for sandmans,brocks etc somebody should be able to scan & reproduce maloo kit if demand is there.

yeah Jason does top work, very happy with his stuff. I have got some original stuff to him in the past so he can make quality replacements for the 90's stuff.
