Hi Guys,
A bit of a historical question for you. Greg Murphy as we know didn't win an Australian Touring Car Championship although he finished second twice. In 2005 he changed teams from what was to become the Toll HSV Dealer Team to Super Cheap Auto Racing. The Toll HSV Dealer Team ended up winning championships in 2006 and 2007.
My question is had he stayed could he have won that elusive touring car championship? Or would the team not won the championships they did without Garth Tander. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I can understand Murphy's reason for leaving when he did but given that he never won the title I am interested in people's opinions on Greg Murphy as a driver and whether he was worthy of a touring car championship.
