Cheers mate. Yeah we kinda assumed we would have to go in via the rear seat. Did you run the air line via the rear seat as well?

Everyone says the airline and wiring is the shittest of the job so...thats out of the way and done.

Yer mate, just drill another hole angled towards the boot and ran it through and up. I would agree the air lines are a bitch to do because you have to go through the firewall. I ran the airline under the carpet in the passenger footwell, up high so you cant see or feel them then went through the fw.

Should be done next w.e then...

We got the cruise next weekend so.... who knows.

We ran the airline down the passenger side sill trims then out of a nice grommet. Ran the drivers side over the firewall in the loom clips.

Ran the line from the battery down the drivers side cause there was no way in hell we were getting anything inside the passenger side.

Think the worst part was only finding 10 cents under the rear seat. Cheap ####ing passengers.

yeah i didnt to begin with. there were a number of random wires with markings on the like 'D' and 'B' which meant absolutely nothing to me. the wiring diagram we got proved useful for finding out the controller power wires, but the compressor was completely off the map. stupidly i assumed the pump relays were + switched, but as the tank filled there was a distinct lack of switchie-offie. so after a few mins of head scratching, figured out the pressure switch was a negative earth switch for the relay, so after a bit of rerouting it all turned off and on as it should.

i dunno who was able to do the whole install in 2 days :s from the pics of the mods that need to be done to the strut towers, i would guess its around 4 hours per corner, plus the 2 days its taken to wire. i was being quite anal with the routing of wires etc, but wanted to make sure its a 10 year install, and not something thats gonna flip fuses in a year or so once the cable gets cut by sharp edges.

and plus holden interior trims are f'ken retarded.

Well all up the wiring took us a day... But was was with 2 and a half people.

I think you are over estimating the fronts. We just gotta drill those spot welds and from there its a shock change.

I got us a template for the rears as well... Dunno how good it is.

    :)
then knock off the OEM strut top
then pilot and drill 3 holes in the strut tower
then drill out a hole in the wheel arch
    then fit that fitting
    then run the air line

    THEN:
    move the ABS controller (somehow)
    drill out hole
    fit air fitting
    drill out spot welds
    knock off strut top
    pilot and drill 3 holes
remove strut top off assembly refit new strut top
    fit assembly to car
    run air lines

no. i reckon my estimate is pretty spot on :p

Yeah drops ins =/= bolt ins.

Drop ins are piece of piss to chuck in. They have brackets you just bolt up.

Yeah Hozy linked me that PDF last week, that helped us with the controller, we had a few spare wires we didnt know what to do with :p

Ill shoot you a PM, hopefully it shows a little more detail than the one air ride gave me (the one they gave me is actually for a ute).

That's not the wiring diagram, that's how to program the controller. That's the paperwork I have. I got the same ute install sheet as you..lol
