Yeah I went tein coilies over bags as well

I think ill miss the novelty.

But theres just so much that can go wrong with them, not that i ever had many issues with mine, its just that feeling I always had in the back of my mind.

Nothing but a bigger smile on my face than rocking up to the shops and every just looking at me stopped for the massive ass speed bump then id pump the car up and float over it like a 4WD then air out haha.

Just gotta try and flog the car off now so I can put it into modification funds.

Thinking about just advertising it as a dismantle/parts car. It runs fine but youll never get it RWCed annoying that is has rego till next April. See what happens I guess.

What suspension are you thinking?

Coilovers or something similar to me with Springs/Coils with e.g. Bilsteins?

The novelty for me wore off quickly. Spent less then half as much on my coilovers and there is no comparing the two in terms of road handling

Was looking at some of the pedders coilover kits. Was going to go that way originally with the VX but the bags came up cheap. They seem pretty decent for the money, I think the upper spec kit is the way to go.

I still have contacts at work though and Fulcrum are resellers for Bilsteins so I might price them up as well.

So doing the wheel hunt a little more.

Found a set of cheap KMC Rockstars.

20 * 8 Front (32 or 42 Offset cant rememeber)

20 * 10 Rear (35 offset)

Theyre a bit like the Senator Sigs of the VE World though. Might continue the hunt...

ive actually seen those rims on a couple cars and i dont mind them

but when you compare them to a sexy concave rim they dont stand a chance.

oh and also awesome new car gren! good to see a few more G8's on the road getting modded. cant say ive seen a wagon version lowered on nice rims
