Last week a grinding noise started coming from my rear wheels. My husband replaced all brake pads on the weekend but the noise is still there and is definately worse. I thought maybe there was a stone stuck somewhere. When he pulled one of the rear wheels off, the brake drum bit (I think thats what it is!!) was hot and he said it shouldnt be. He thinks it may be a bearing. Any tips or ideas?? Thanks

Maybe it could that the handbrake shoes are rubbing in the rotors and need to be backed off a bit , They are located inside the rear rotors .Or even the backing plate that sits behind the rotor could be bent and rubbing on the rotor . These can get bent when undoing the caliper bolts .

could be a seizing caliper mine had this and it finally seized right up and boiled the brake fluid and I lost brakes. Lucky I was down the street from my mechanic. Take it to be checked
