Im getting some twin piston brakes that are coming off a VP SS and id say they are HSV twin piston ones.Do you think i will just need the discs(bloody big looking)and the calipers or just get the complete strut and brake set up?Does anybody know what they are worth, are they any good?PS i will be getting them very cheap.

They should be 330mm if they are Group A brakes. The discs and calipers are worth ALOT of money brand new.

Make sure they're not a VT upgrade or 330mm disc that uses the VT hub adaptors.

The rotors should have SV cast into them.

I was offered a full set about 4 years ago for $1500, included the 4 rotors, front and rear calipers and brake lines. I couldn't buy them at the time because I desperately needed to do other stuff to my car. Oh well.

he means the vt hub upgrade, uses a hub that goes on the strut, then tophat style discs like vr onwards. genuine grp a discs have the studs and hub all part of the disc and are damn pricey to replace.
