Gts 2007 MRC issue

Hi guys

I previously purchased a 2007 HSV GTS , I’m having an issue with the MRC button as there is no light so basically I can’t tell when I press it what it’s meant to be doing or whether it’s working and there is a fault in light, or the module is fried

The previous owner had no idea what the button even was , the car has a slight drag/ boat feel,although very smooth drive

All shock absorbers/mounts and bearings were replaced by Holden last month

some insight would be great

Have you checked to see if the Hardware is still in place ?,
All the connectors/plugs in place ? inside and outside.
Being Holden worked on it last month.

I have not checked anything as of yet , I’m not very familiar with connector/plug locations as this is my first hsv

On the other hand, maybe the previous owner had it disabled for some reason.

RTFM to see what the button is meant to do?
I'd imagine it firms up the dampers, either on/off or levels.

Then if it doesn't operate as designed, go back to the dealer

Did Holden replace the dampers with MRC dampers?
Also, there is plug on the firewall underneath the booster, when disconnected, disables the MRC.
If the MRC has a fault condition, the car will be speed limited, so owners can disable the system to get around it.
