    Hello all. I have a question about a model number for a gts vt s1. Model number is vt8vk69-xy2. What does this mean? I get the vt part but the rest i have no idea?

    Don't panic if your VIN comes up as a Executive or some other lowly model, they were just the base cars that were taken off the Holden line and then changed by HSV. Not sure, but GTS is probably likely to come up as a Berlina.

    Quite correct, the VIN for my 2001 VX GTS (Berlina-based) was 6H8VXL69F1L695319.

    VT8VK69, VT Commodore, 8 means Holden, VK is Executive based, 69 is sedan 4 window. XY2 GTS Auto
