attempted to travel through time back to the future style while on the back of a tow truck? either that, or theres just a really bright light reflecting
Yeah, um, sorry about that :whistling That's not good...I burst mine a while back, got a new one, a day later a hose snapped, fixed that, then about a month later the radiator broke (was still under warranty  ) put that in, and now my heater core is leaking coolant :bang::bang::bang: never ends.... -Merry Christmas-
its not a very nice feeling seeing ur car being towed up like that lol.. o well at least it wasnt getting done for impounding or something
You coulda fixed that on the side of the road, or just fill it and leave the cap off and do short bursts of driving home. Or did you drive it till you killed the motor??
well it wasnt really giving off any signs that there was anything wrong with it (not to me anyway), i was going along the freeway when the alert went off, letting me no that my car was getting heated. Next thing i know, the bar is all the way to red. I did 2 stops at the servo, filling it up with water.. tried to get going again.. same thing. I finally tossed it in and decided to call RACV where i waited 45 mins and another 2 hours for the towwie.. meh
haha thats what i did when i killed my radiator Got a lift home with a mate, grabbed the spare out from under the garage, went back and pulled the old one out and threw the new one in!! Was @ a very busy servo and was slightly raining, but it gave the people @ maccas something to look at haha!!
nah it was ****ing it out.. the racv dude put a powder (dunno wat it was ) in with the water, said that should be a temporary fix.. he checked it a few mins later, saw all the water ****ing out.. and goes, u wont be going anywhere tonight.. dont even think about turning it on :whistling
same thing happend to mine- I was only 5 mins from home and I knew something wasnt right....pulled over and there was water pooling around the tyres.... It was still under warranty so I rang em up and got it straight on a tow truck back to the dealershup and they gave me a nice shiny new one
Yep, cracked radiator. Happened to my old VP, $200 will get you a basic radiator (just a jap one) to fix it.
