I think it's now a common thing on rear springs to be close when new. Like I said my Lovells are the same and they ride really nicely. Way better than the factory coils. Kings might not be like the OPs and mine but let's face it Kings are junk. I was concerned with mine when they were fitted but 6 or so months on and they are just fine.
