Pretty much says it all doesn't it.

I have a crook shaft seal in my lads car that I've been working on now for a month or so and it's leaking trans fluid big time out of the selector shaft.

Does anyone here have one of these tools as it's one of those items you'd use once ever 15 years or so unless you're a transmission rebuilding business.

Drill a small hole in the seal and insert a small screw and pull it out with a decent pair of multi grips. If there’s room a slide hammer is easiest. Do it all the time for output shaft and shifter shaft seals on motorbikes.

Yes I did as I accidentally left the word SEAL out in the original title line.

Yes that's the big issue, space around the exhaust system and also the trans tunnel
