Has anyone tried the Mace engineering short shifters?

I have a 97 VT SS V8 with a sloppy getrag 290 and was wondering if anyone had tried the Mace short shifters?
They seem very cheap compared to other manufacturers so I was wondering if they were any good.

Have a mate with a Cube setup as loves the shifter, the Mace setup should be good wouldn't they need to pass Australian standards.

So in the end I did buy one and chuck it in. It got rid off almost all the slop in the shift and works really well so far. Getting under the car to access the linkage and bolts was annoying but overall a simple install.
