how much do you think your VZ has just reduced in value with the release of the VE?

i think the older vzs would lose a bit but the newer vzs would still hold fairly good value, maybe average value drop of 3-5g's

    yay for us.

and if they dont bring out the sandman canopy on the VE's, mine will hold that wee bit longer!

I think there will be alot of unhappy VZ owners :ranting:

Except for the ute and wagon owners

It will be there turn in 2007-2008

On the otherhand monaro and the panelvan owners :wax:

    sweet as!

i got a trade-in on my 98 series 3 VS S ute of 10,500. it was an auto 6, standard wheels, not lowered, tinted windows, CD player, 198,000 kays, split radiator, busted engine mount, aircon didnt work and the fan only worked on 1 or high.

Yep, some new VE models are actually cheaper than the VZ.
Also in the last year Holden discounted the f*ck out of the VZ to move units so there are plenty of VZ's with low k's at car yards. But large Aussie cars have a s#it resale value.

i have no idea. the first place i went to offered me 7,000 for it. i almost fell over backwards when the guy told me 10,500! he was going to give me 10,000 but said i could have an extra 500 if i wanted to take the ute that was on the showroom floor. it wasnt a demo model, it was still brand new. best part about it was i first went in there on the tuesday and was driving out in my brand new car on the friday arvo!
