LOL....just winding you V8 lads up is all but now I've 9k extra in my pocket to play with and I'm still happy :)

Each to there own hey, i got my 10/08 built VE SS ute for $33990 driveaway brand new(only reason i bought it holden special sale) so in the end a great price will be a big factor.

Just looked at redbook resale % SS sedan at 66% SSV sedan at 61% Calais V V8 at 55% so theres some food for thought.

Get the v8

Hi i would get the v8 its so mutch more fun you can feel the pull its like a jet taking off and the sound is beautiful with a good exhaust .I got my 07 calais v v8 for 29000 about 6 months ago and are very happy.Got tune otr and exhaust done and never looked back,only after leaving the lights to see how far away all the rice cars and 6 clyinders are behind.

Yeah it's disturbing how much they devalue in the first couple of years.
